Ellie plays Basia in the Hulu drama We Were The Lucky Ones, adapted from the novel by Georgia Hunter, which was based on her own family’s experience of the Holocaust. Prior to this, Ellie played real life character Rachel Auerbach in Not Even The Dogs, a play depicting the plight of Polish Jewish intellectuals in the Warsaw Ghetto during WWII.
